Strategic topics discussed at ERA-MIN Governing Board
On 27 and 28 June a two-day meeting of the ERA-MIN Governing Board took place in Paris. On the first day the ERA-MIN partners discussed strategic topics such as the integration of new members, the links with related EU initiatives and the setting up of the ERA-MIN Stakeholders Forum. On the second day the chairs of each working group presented a progress report on the ERA-MIN Roadmap activities.

ERA-MIN at a French-British workshop on strategic metals
The science and technology department of the French Embassy in the United Kingdom, together with the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), organized a 2 days Franco-British workshop on strategic metals the 11 and 12th June 2012.

ERA-MIN website online
ERA-MIN has published their new website (era-min-eu.org) to support and promote its activities to foster research in the field of industrial production and supply of raw materials. Most importantly, on this website news and results can be found on our projects and working groups. The site also contains information on the ERA-MIN program and its members, and you can download important documents in the download section.

Next ERA-MIN meeting on 27-28 June
The next ERA-MIN meeting will be held in Paris, France at 27 and 28 June 2012. During these two days new members will be integrated in the ERA-MIN network and the progress and results from the different working groups will be discussed.

Kick-off meeting Stockholm
The kick-off meeting of ERA-MIN, has been held in Stockholm on February 28-29.
About 120 people from industry, geological surveys, research institutions, representatives from the European structures such as the ETP-SMR and I2mine, and representatives of the European Commission attended the meeting organized by the Swedish Agency for Innovation (Vinnova).

Who we are
ERA-MIN is a network of European organisations owning and/or managing research programs on raw materials.
It is currently comprising 19 partners from 15 countries. The number of partners is set to increase over the project’s lifetime to form a major network for the European non-energy mineral raw materials research community (ENERC).
